Rusty Tin Star Tree Topper - 10-1/2" x 12"

The Rusty Tin Star Tree Topper is perfect for the top of your Christmas Tree. Try this project featuring the Rusty Tin Star Tree Topper. Using 3/4" wide masking tape, tape off diagonal stripes on the bottom of the star. Refer to picture for placement. Basecoat in Americana Rookwood Red (ADA097) using a sponge. Once dry, pull off masking tape and mask off the red. Paint with Buttermilk (ADA03) in the alternating stripes. Using a sponge lightly spounce on Midnight Blue (ADA085), being sure to let some of the rust show through. Finish with a coat of sealer and voila - you're finished! You now have an Americana Tree Topper. You can use this idea, one of your own, or simply use as is. As you see in the picture, we put the tree topper over a welcome light and it would look great in a window or on a mantle or shelf. The tree topper is 10-1/2" x 12".
